Aerospace

Dean M. Willard, Co-Founder of Willard IoT, has a long history in technology beginning with over 40 years in Aerospace. He focused on non-metallic materials well before the commercial aerospace market developed its interest in these materials. He led, for example, a team that developed the stealth costings for the B2 Bomber in the early to mid 80’s.

He identified the benefit of changing seat structures in commercial aircraft to composite from aluminum. His company brought the technology to the market and moved the composite market share to well over 75% in a ten-year period.

Dean Willard also developed the first chemical management company for the aerospace market and built up a dominant market share with this company as aircraft producers pushed and continue to push for efficiencies, reduced chemical waste and cost savings.
