In 1997, Dean M. Willard and his daughter, Emily Willard formed their own private equity investment group, Sangha Associates, Inc. Willard Solutions International and Willard Healthcare Solutions are wholly owned subsidiaries of Sangha Associates. Willard IoT is also owned by Dean M. Willard & Emily Willard.
Mr. Willard had just completed a very successful career running a New York Stock Exchange Company
for the twenty-five years prior to forming Sangha. His efforts earned his company the position of Forbes top ten best small companies for the two years prior to his sale of the company. Mr. Willard achieved a number of important accomplishments including leading the team that developed the Stealth Coatings technology for the US B2 Bomber. Sangha has achieved many important accomplishments during its 21 years of operation. The company partnered with Maritime Partners (an investment arm of William Gates II) and restructured two of his investments, in one case turning $5 million in proceeds of the sale of Gates owned Automotive Performance Group into the $150 million revenue producing Permatex after market chemicals company.
The Willards have historically focused on bringing disruptive technologies to the aerospace and chemical markets and are now applying that same business strategy to the Internet of Things. The Willard Smart Exit is the first of a number of planned innovations which bring entirely new capabilities in regulatory compliance, worker safety and cost savings.
